Compounded Medication

A compounded medication is custom-prepared by a licensed pharmacy for a specific patient based on a prescriber's order.

Compounded medications are prepared to a prescriber's specification for an individual, named patient. REVRCEL prescriptions are filled exclusively through PCAB-accredited 503A patient-specific compounding pharmacies. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved as finished drug products; they are prepared under USP <795> and <797> standards.
